As he grows and becomes more adventurous, Bod explores different creatures in the graveyard, and even some in the living world. His parents and guardians all warn him against the different creatures around him, yet he continues to seek them out. Do they turn out to be as described by the ghosts in the graveyard?

I think Bod should have listend about the gouls. They where scary and even took Bod to make him a goul. I didn’t think the witch was as scary as the ghosts thought. She became Bods friend and helped him to escape the men that wanted to harm in and call jack. The men at the shop. The outside world was a bad place for Bod to be with the man Jack and he should have not went to school as his gardian had warned agenst. Bod had many adventures but I think he learned for himself in the end who he could trust. Was a great book
