I think kyles friends have had a big impact on him such as his drinking and not being modavated to get a job or make good choices. I would have liked to see him follow his mom’s advice more not just about finding a job but maybe calling his old friends from his old school. I liked his sister as I think kyle really cared for her and it showed he did care about things that were important to a dagree. I wish kyle would have told the girl he liked how he felt. Was her name Ashley? Lol. I can’t remember. Anyway I wish he had made better choices in the book but that would not have been as good of a story if kyle had made those better choices. I really liked this book.

Agreed! I think his friends have a huge impact on the choices he makes, even when he’s saying that they aren’t really his friends, and he doesn’t really care what they think. He is definitely an interesting character!

I have really enjoyed books this month and will definitely continue book club. I have used all my hoopla titles this month but I do have Kindle app as well for reading so will buy books on there for the rest of the month. I really don’t mind as I am really enjoying book club. Next month I will save hoopla for book club picks
